Erin and Ewere are best friends. Erins family is from Ireland, while Eweres family is from Nigeria. One day, Mrs. Grey informs her fourth-grade class that they will be working on a project about leaves from different parts of the world. Erin and Ewere know exactly what they would like to present on. Erin chooses to present on the shamrock, an important leaf in Ireland that represents luck. Eweres leaf, the ewere, also represents luck.
